About Katie
With a 10 year background as a esthetician, working in management at LA’s first facial bar, Face Haus, 3 Buzzfeed videos, a loyal clientele, Mayday Skincare was created in late 2018.
Katie began her career as a esthetician at the age of 30. It started out as a love for waxing and then grew into a love for skincare. She struggled with cystic acne in her 20’s and has been down the road of dermatologists, topicals and medications. It wasn’t until she went to esthetician school where she learned more about her skin and how to properly take care of it (who knew exfoliation was so important!). She firmly believes taking care of your skin shouldn’t be a luxury and doesn’t have to be overwhelming or complicated. Her goal is to help you understand and feel better about the skin you’re in. One facial at a time.
